Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure
- Ensure production systems availability, security, and scalability
- Work with engineering team to deploy services across environments
- Scale infrastructure to handle increased traffic and capacity
- Maintain CI/CD pipeline for faster and safer software delivery
- Develop and maintain shared tools and infrastructure
- Monitor Service Level Indicators and ensure systems meet SLOs
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Lead process improvement and automation efforts
- Improve existing systems including testing, monitoring, alerting, security
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system design
- Define and share infrastructure management best practices
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining distributed systems
- Solid understanding of Linux and Kubernetes
- Expertise in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP)
- Strong coding skills in Java, Rust, or Python
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD workflows and tooling
- Strong communication and writing skills
