Growth/Product Engineer

Porter is seeking a product engineer with strong design capabilities and expertise in React/TypeScript and CSS to elevate their platform's UX/visual polish. As a Growth/Product Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping the product's trajectory through hands-on development and strategic input.

The role demands complete fluency in React/TypeScript and CSS, with a focus on improving dashboard UI/UX, implementing design systems, and establishing the platform's visual language. You'll need to balance collaborative teamwork with individual excellence while adapting to the fast-paced environment of an early-stage startup.

Porter, a Platform as a Service solution, enables users to deploy applications to their own AWS/GCP accounts with automated DevOps capabilities. The company has shown impressive growth, achieving 8x ARR increase since early 2022 and reaching profitability in Q3 2022. They're building a founding team in NYC, though remote work is possible with core hours alignment (9am-5pm ET).

The tech stack includes:

• Frontend: React with styled-components, TypeScript
• Backend: Go, Kubernetes + Helm APIs, Postgres, Redis
