GTM Engineer

Primary, a leading seed-stage venture capital firm in NYC, is seeking their first GTM Engineer to join their Impact team. This unique role combines revenue operations foundations (50%) with GTM forward workflows (50%), working directly with portfolio companies to establish and optimize their go-to-market technology infrastructure.

The position offers an exceptional opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and venture capital, supporting founders and operators in building scalable GTM systems. Reporting to the GTM Operating Partner, you'll collaborate with a high-powered Market Development team while working with 5-15 portfolio companies simultaneously.

Key responsibilities include leading the implementation of GTM tech stacks, developing automation workflows, and creating frameworks for data structure and hygiene. The role also involves exploring and implementing AI tools, conducting training sessions, and establishing best practices for portfolio companies.

The ideal candidate brings 4-7 years of experience in GTM tech stack implementation at startups, with deep expertise in CRM systems, sales acceleration tools, and basic programming skills. They should demonstrate high agency, growth orientation, and strong problem-solving abilities.
