Description For iOS Engineer - Contract (Outside of IR35)

Pulselive, a company that builds engaging solutions for millions of sports fans worldwide, is seeking an iOS Engineer for a contract position outside of IR35. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build and lead solutions using a wide range of data sources and native technologies, creating bespoke UI experiences for sports enthusiasts.

As an iOS Developer at Pulselive, you'll be part of a collaborative environment that produces leading products across web and native applications. Your responsibilities will include managing code releases to internal environments, producing high-quality code that's both functional and extensible, and communicating effectively to ensure optimal solutions are developed.

Key skills required for this role include proficiency in Swift, Xcode, UIKit, and Combine or RxSwift. You should have experience with web service integration, GIT usage, and integrating third-party libraries. A strong understanding of SOLID principles and their application is crucial.

  • Managing code releases to internal environments (Dev, Test)
  • Producing high-standard code that functions correctly and can be understood and extended by other team members
  • Showing good attention to detail in the final product
  • Communicating clearly to ensure the best possible solutions are built

Requirements For iOS Engineer - Contract (Outside of IR35)

  • Willingness and ability to adapt to new approaches
  • Experience working within a development team
  • Proficiency in Swift, Xcode, UIKit, Combine and/or RxSwift
  • Experience with web service integration (REST, JSON)
  • GIT usage and code management
  • Experience integrating with and using third party libraries/applications
  • Understanding of SOLID Principles and their application
  • Familiarity with task/ticket management tools such as JIRA
  • Knowledge of persistent storage solutions such as Core Data
  • Experience with Unit Tests and TDD
