Description For Associate Guidewire Developer

PwC is seeking an Associate Guidewire Developer to join their Advisory practice in Bangalore. This role focuses on developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform, a comprehensive software suite for insurance companies. The position involves working with policy administration, claims management, and billing systems.

As a Guidewire developer at PwC, you'll be responsible for designing, coding, and testing software solutions that meet specific insurance organization needs. You'll work with cutting-edge insurance solutions and be part of implementing the Guidewire Insurance Suite, including Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center.

The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience with strong programming skills in Java and Gosu, along with knowledge of XML, XSD, JSON, and relational databases. Understanding of insurance domain concepts is essential, as is experience with SCRUM Agile methodologies.

  • Collaborate and implement relevant development tools/techniques
  • Experience in using various editors and tools available through Guidewire Studio
  • Work with Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center
  • Design, code, and test software solutions for insurance organizations

Requirements For Associate Guidewire Developer

Java
  • B.Tech/B.E/MCA/M.Tech degree
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Strong programming knowledge in object-oriented languages such as Java and Gosu
  • Knowledge of XML, XSD and JSON
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server
  • Knowledge in the Insurance domain
  • Experience in SCRUM Agile methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
