Description For Power Platform Developer, Advisory

PwC Channel Islands is seeking a Power Platform Developer to join their Advisory practice. As part of a dynamic team of 600+ staff across Jersey, Guernsey, and Alderney, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing technology solutions for clients. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work within PwC's market-leading Financial Services Regulation team, which comprises over 1,000 professionals globally.

The role involves designing and developing custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. You'll be responsible for creating scalable solutions, integrating with various data sources, and automating business processes. Working closely with business stakeholders, you'll gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that deliver value to clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level developer with strong technical skills in Microsoft Power Platform and programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and C#. The position offers exposure to complex projects in regulatory compliance and risk management within the financial services sector. You'll have the chance to grow professionally, contribute to strategic initiatives, and become a trusted business advisor.

Responsibilities For Power Platform Developer, Advisory

  • Design, develop and implement custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Platform
  • Integrate Power Apps with various data sources including SharePoint and SQL Server
  • Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows
  • Create and manage Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power Platform applications
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and gather requirements
  • Ensure security and scalability of Power Platform solutions

Requirements For Power Platform Developer, Advisory

JavaScript
Python
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of complex data sets and database technology
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Copilot Studio)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, C#, Python, Power FX
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in understanding client problems and designing technology solutions
