As the SRE Lead, you'll be at the forefront of implementing and managing critical monitoring systems using Splunk and Dynatrace, while also driving automation initiatives through Ansible and Python. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, as you'll be mentoring junior team members and working closely with Solutions Architects to enhance system reliability and performance.

The position requires a strong background in application engineering (10+ years) and substantial SRE experience (5+ years), particularly with Dynatrace and Splunk. Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer Lead

  • Design, configure and sets up observability platform tools (Splunk and Dynatrace)
  • Work with Observability Manager and Architect to develop Monitoring capabilities strategy
  • Develop tooling and processes to increase automation of monitoring
  • Integrate and configure additional tools/frameworks
  • Perform analytics on incidents and usage patterns
  • Collaborate across departments to gauge system effectiveness
  • Foster the adoption of Observability tools
  • Partner with Service owners to implement Service Level Metrics
  • Measure and deliver on enterprise platforms stability
  • Resolve issues, alerts, and incidents
  • Analyze monitoring requirements
  • Deliver presentations to managers and partners
  • Be a mentor to engineers

Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer Lead

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, math, or other science field required
  • Must be USC or GC holder
  • 10+ years overall experience in application engineering
  • 5+ years of SRE experience with Dynatrace and Splunk

  • 3+ years experience monitoring applications using SDLC methodologies preferably Agile
  • 3+ years of technology design expertise
  • 2+ years of experience in Relational database management
  • 2+ years of experience in scripting languages
