Description For Associate Software Support Engineer (Night Shift)

Qualco, a leading Fintech solutions provider with over 20 years of experience, is seeking a self-motivated Associate Software Support Engineer for their night shift operations. This role is perfect for someone passionate about providing high-quality technical support in a dynamic fintech environment. The position involves working closely with Service Delivery and Software Development teams to maintain and troubleshoot client operational environments 24/7.

As part of the Software Support Team, you'll be at the forefront of client interaction, handling first-level support, managing tickets, and ensuring service level agreements are met. The role requires a strong technical foundation with knowledge of T-SQL, and familiarity with Microsoft ETL tools and IIS would be advantageous. Experience with digital banking products is a plus.

Responsibilities For Associate Software Support Engineer (Night Shift)

  • Provide 1st level support to clients
  • Handle client tickets & phone calls to ensure SLAs are met
  • Analyze, log and track issues and tickets
  • Proactively address issues to ensure minimum service disruption
  • Monitor and report on client environments
  • Track and provide periodic updates to clients and internal teams
  • Understand clients' installations and processes
  • Monitor alerting mechanism and activate escalation process
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements For Associate Software Support Engineer (Night Shift)

  • Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • Client facing with excellent phone manner
  • High level of ownership and attention to detail
  • Team Spirit and passion for results
  • Firm command of the English language
  • Knowledge of T-SQL
  • Microsoft ETL tools and IIS (asset)
  • Familiarity with digital banking products (asset)
