Qualcomm is seeking an Audio SW Customer Support Engineer to join their Customer Engineering team, working with world-leading Windows on Snapdragon (WoS) compute device makers. This role combines audio system architecture expertise with software DSP technologies and Windows Audio Architecture.
The position involves supporting OEMs and various tier partners with Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Windows audio system architecture customizations, from proof of concept through to commercial product launches. You'll be working alongside global teams of dedicated experts to develop next-generation Compute products.
As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you'll be part of a leading technology innovator that pushes the boundaries of what's possible in digital transformation. The role requires strong technical expertise in audio software development, particularly in Windows ARM-based audio drivers and system architecture. You'll be responsible for performance measurement, analysis, and optimization, while also providing crucial support for various certification processes including Teams, Zoom, Cortana, and Alexa.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of software development experience, strong programming skills in C/C++, and extensive knowledge of embedded systems. Experience with DSP, audio pre/post-processing algorithms, and Windows audio architecture is highly valued.
