Description For Analog/Mixed Signal ASIC Design Engineer

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (QCT) is seeking talented analog integrated circuit designers to join their mixed-signal IP design team. This role focuses on designing high-speed, high-performance, and low-power mixed-signal IPs including SerDes, DDR, PLL, DAC, ADC, and sensors for Qualcomm's cutting-edge products in 5G, AI/ML, compute, and automotive applications.

The position offers an opportunity to work alongside architects, ASIC designers, protocol experts, signal processing engineers, and algorithm designers in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be involved in crucial aspects of analog/mixed-signal design, from architecture definition to silicon implementation and testing.

Responsibilities For Analog/Mixed Signal ASIC Design Engineer

  • Work in analog design team for schematic capture and simulations
  • Participate in architecture definition and analog/digital design partitioning
  • Schematic capture and simulations in Cadence Virtuoso tool suite
  • Work with cross functional teams (layout and digital teams)
  • Work with testing team for silicon bringup and debugging

Requirements For Analog/Mixed Signal ASIC Design Engineer

Python
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience working with ASIC design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso
  • 2+ years of experience with analog or mixed-signal integrated circuit design
  • Experience using design tools (CADENCE, SPICE, MATLAB, and/or Verilog/VHDL)
  • Demonstrated interest in analog circuit design
