Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a talented Analog/Mixed Signal ASIC Design Engineer to join their QCT mixed-signal IP design team. This role is integral to designing high-speed, high-performance, and low-power mixed-signal IPs (SerDes, DDR, PLL, DAC, ADC, sensors, etc.) for Qualcomm's cutting-edge products in 5G, AI/ML, compute, and automotive applications.
The position offers an opportunity to work alongside architects, ASIC designers, protocol experts, signal processing engineers, and algorithm designers in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of analog circuit design, from architecture definition to implementation and testing.
Key responsibilities include working with the analog design team on schematic capture and simulations, participating in architecture definition, and handling analog/digital design partitioning. The role requires expertise in using Cadence Virtuoso tools and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including layout and digital teams, as well as working with the testing team for silicon bringup and debugging.
Qualcomm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary ($142,400 - $213,600), annual discretionary bonus, RSU grants, and extensive health coverage. The company provides various professional development opportunities through continuous learning programs, tuition reimbursement, and mentorship initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with demonstrated interest in analog circuit design. Experience with ASIC design tools and a strong understanding of architecture, system, and integration aspects for mixed-signal designs is crucial. Knowledge of Matlab and Python, along with experience in high-speed analog design of mixed-signal IPs, would be particularly valuable.
Join Qualcomm's team of innovators and contribute to developing next-generation technologies that power the connected world. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects while growing professionally in a supportive, inclusive environment that values diversity and innovation.
