Description For Android QNX Performance Engineer (CE)

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking an Android QNX Performance Engineer to join their automotive software team in Bangalore. This role focuses on optimizing and analyzing the performance of complex concurrent applications running on various operating systems including QNX, Linux, and Android in both native and virtual environments.

The position requires a deep understanding of automotive use-cases and the ability to profile them on Auto platforms while working with multiple hardware and software teams. Key responsibilities include analyzing performance KPIs for various automotive applications such as booting, multimedia systems, ADAS features, and rear-seat entertainment. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining performance dashboards, collaborating with global cross-functional teams, and leading deep-dive debugging sessions for customer use-cases.

Responsibilities For Android QNX Performance Engineer (CE)

  • Profile and analyze traces of complex concurrent applications running on QNX, Linux and Android
  • Optimize performance of applications running in native and virtual environments
  • Analyze Performance KPIs of Automotive use-cases
  • Optimize booting KPI to meet customer needs
  • Profile/analyze popular benchmarks KPI of CPU/GPU/DDR/IO
  • Characterize/Analysis the hypervisor performance
  • Maintain & publish performance dashboard across critical use-cases
  • Work with customers to root-cause performance issues
  • Write and enhance debugging tools

Requirements For Android QNX Performance Engineer (CE)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years experience
  • OR Master's degree and 1+ year experience
  • OR PhD in related field
  • 1+ year experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python
  • 1+ year experience with debugging techniques
