Description For ASIC Design Engineer(Modem)

QCT's Bangalore Wireless R&D HW team is looking for experienced Wireless Modem HW design engineers to work on Qualcomm's best-in-class chipsets in modem WWAN IP.

You will be contributing to flagship modem core IP development covering 5G(NR), 4G (LTE), and 3G technologies. You will be part of the team defining and developing next-generation multi-mode 5G modems.

The candidate must have front-end RTL design experience on wireless IP or other DSP-based IPs. The candidate must be strong in design micro-architecture & RTL coding (System Verilog Verilog/VHDL). Other requirements are:

  • Exposure to synthesis & STA
  • Low power and high-speed design awareness
  • Knowledge of design flow, industry-standard front-end tools flows (lint, cdc, etc.)
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation: Unix/Linux shell programming, Perl, Python, Makefile, etc.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and debug skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible to work with multi-geo team
