Responsibilities For CPU Architecture Performance Engineer - Sr Eng

  • Performance verification for world-class custom CPU for mobile and portable computers
  • Work with CPU architecture areas: fetch, decode, branch prediction, renaming, execute units, SIMD, load/store, MMU, caches, retire
  • Verify performance features between RTL and model, and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with design team and performance team to develop test cases and validate new features

Requirements For CPU Architecture Performance Engineer - Sr Eng

Python
  • MS degree in Computer Architecture with 5+ years of practical experience
  • Good CPU architecture and micro-architecture knowledge
  • Experience with RTL simulation environment
  • Experience with performance modeling environment
  • Proficient in Verilog, C, C++ and scripting languages (Perl/Python)
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of common performance benchmarks and workloads
