  • Develop and verify high performance and low power CPU designs
  • Solve problems to ensure design completeness, functionality, power, and performance
  • Collaborate across teams to define requirements and specifications
  • Evaluate design process from conceptualization to productization
  • Write detailed technical documentation for CPU designs
  • Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements For CPU Physical Design Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years experience
  • Experience with high-performance microprocessor design
  • Experience with high level programming (C, C++, Perl, Python)
  • Experience with simulators and waveform debugging tools (Verilog, VHDL)
  • Experience with industry standard tools for synthesis place and route
  • Experience with simulation, emulation, formal verification
  • Experience in creating functional models, checkers, test plans
  • Experience working in large matrixed organization
