Responsibilities For Frontend CAD Principal Engineer
- Drive tools, flows, methodologies globally as part of world-wide CAD organization
- Develop and implement advanced CAD flows and methodologies for front end RTL Design
- Utilize scripting languages (python) to automate CAD/IT processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge technology (AI/ML)
- Work closely with users to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Provide supervision/guidance to other team members
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements For Frontend CAD Principal Engineer
- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
- 15+ years experience in development of tools/flows/methodologies in RTL, DV, synthesis, PnR or Signoff
- Strong understanding of CAD/EDA tools and methodologies
- Experience with regression systems, CI/CD, Revision Control System (git, perforce)
- Strong fundamentals in digital design, design verification methodologies
- Experience building full stack AI applications
- Strong proficiency in Rust and Python
- Understanding of large language models (LLMs)
- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
