Description For FY25 Intern - NCC Software Telemetry Tools Developer Internship - Canada (12 or 16 months)

Qualcomm Canada ULC is seeking a Software Telemetry Tools Developer Intern for a 12 or 16-month internship starting May 2025. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on low-level ARM architecture and CPU performance optimization.

The position involves developing tools for CPU telemetry, overclocking, and performance optimization on Qualcomm's ARM processors. You'll be working directly with hardware, creating data collection and visualization tools, and gaining hands-on experience with system-level programming.

  • Working close to the metal on the ARM architecture to pull out CPU Telemetry
  • Writing overclocking tools for Qualcomm's ARM CPUs
  • Working close to the metal to probe hardware directly and write tools to tweak it for high performance
  • Writing Data collection and visualization tools

Requirements For FY25 Intern - NCC Software Telemetry Tools Developer Internship - Canada (12 or 16 months)

Python
  • Good programming skills in C/C++
  • Computer Architecture skills
  • Good programming skills in Python scripting
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or related field
  • Must be continuing education after internship concludes
