Responsibilities For Low Power CAD Engineer

  • Applies Hardware knowledge to assist in planning, optimization, verification, and testing of electronic systems
  • Provides support for integration of features and functionality into hardware designs
  • Assists in conducting simulations and analyses of designs
  • Collaborates with team members on implementation of new requirements
  • Assists in evaluation, characterization, and development of manufacturing solutions
  • Assists in reliability evaluation for materials, properties, and techniques
  • Assists in assessment of design features for flaws and compatibility issues
  • Writes technical documentation for Hardware projects
  • Responsible for power estimation, optimization and Low power signoff CAD flow development/support

Requirements For Low Power CAD Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field
  • 1+ year of experience with circuit design (digital, analog, RF)
  • 1+ year of experience utilizing schematic capture and circuit simulation software
  • 1+ year of experience with hardware design and measurement instruments
