Qualcomm China is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for IOT to join their Connected Camera System group, focusing on creating embedded and smart device solutions for Edge Boxes, IP Cameras, Sports Cameras, Drones, and Robotics. The position involves developing and optimizing state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning algorithms, with a particular focus on IoT Gen AI and Vision AI enabled use cases. Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer for IOT (Up to Staff Level)
- System Design for state-of-the-art AI-based solution/application for IOT usecases
- Cutting edge Machine Learning and Deep Learning research, design, development and optimization
- System bandwidth analysis and computation for complex problems involving Vision AI and Gen AI usecases
- Coordination between cross functional/geo teams
Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer for IOT (Up to Staff Level)
- Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years knowledge and experience of embedded systems and system on chip micro-architecture
- 3+ years knowledge and experience of DSP architectures, optimization and acceleration of algorithms on DSP
- Hands-on knowledge of TensorFlow, TFLite, Pytorch, ONNX
- Experience in Natural Language Processing, Generative AI is a plus
- Confident in verbal and written communication in English language
