As a Qualcomm Software Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations in support of business development, product demonstrations, design and development of customer-specific requirements, commercialization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage expert Software Application knowledge to provide critical technical expertise of software systems
- Collaborate with high-level representatives across functions and customer personnel to identify complex customer problems
- Lead team in critical system architecture and feature-specific customizations tailored for customer requirements
- Act as a technical expert across teams for assessing potential application of company products
- Write highly complex product technical documentation, application notes, and FAQs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 4+ years of experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- 4+ years of experience with debugging techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 12+ years of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience
- 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership
- Experience in a customer-facing role
