Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Program Manager for their APSS Technologies division, focusing on Linux Android, CPU & Multimedia Technologies. This role is integral to managing software development across Qualcomm's Snapdragon Mobile Handset, Compute, XR/VR, and Gaming platforms.
The position offers an exceptional opportunity to work with cutting-edge software and hardware technologies, including Android, Linux OS, and WOS. The role involves collaboration with various technology teams across BSP, Modem, Connectivity & Multimedia, and Business Units.
As a Program Manager, you'll be responsible for driving requirements scoping, analysis, and planning, while managing interdependencies across multiple technical teams. You'll establish and maintain clear Plan of Record commitments, lead prioritization efforts, and implement robust execution discipline and communication processes.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in software product development and program management within the semiconductor/wireless industry. Strong technical understanding of software deliverables and risk management is essential, along with proven experience in end-to-end product integration and 3rd party OS software program management.

Responsibilities For Program Manager - APSS Technologies
- Drive requirements scoping, analysis and planning across multiple tech teams
- Establish clear Plan of Record commitment and drive prioritization
- Manage risk management/risk mitigation and technical understanding of SW deliverables
- Establish rigorous execution discipline & communications process
- Develop program indicators to manage program health
- Partner with other functional areas to establish critical processes
- Develop and establish strong processes for development cycle
Requirements For Program Manager - APSS Technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in Software product development and program management
- Experience and domain knowledge of Wireless/Semiconductors
- Experience with end-to-end product integration
- Experience managing software products through entire development life cycle
- Experience in 3rd party OS SW Program Management/development
