As a member of the customer engineering team, the candidate is expected to work on ARM/Hypervisor, Drivers, customer reported BSP/Platform, Trustzone and Security issues and cohesively work with cross-functional teams. The person shall be capable of doing customization on OEM platforms which may include design, modify, and modify Linux drivers on Qualcomm ASICs for customer needs as needed. Triaging stability/functional and customization issues reported by customers on Linux/Android platforms and help OEM to launch the product on time.
Key Responsibilities: • Work on ARM Trustzone, Cryptography, and Security features • Develop and modify Linux drivers for Qualcomm ASICs • Debug and troubleshoot issues using tools like JTAG, Trace32, and GDB • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer-reported issues • Customize OEM platforms and ensure timely product launches
Required Skills and Experience: • Strong embedded system debugging skills with ARM and understanding of ARM trust zone • Hands-on experience with JTAG/T32 and crash-dump analysis • Knowledge of operating systems like Linux and other RTOSs • Experience with device drivers in LINUX/Android OS on embedded systems • Proficiency in C/C++ and Java programming languages • Understanding of Android Security features and Cryptographic algorithms • Experience with Android framework/service/driver development for Automotive infotainment devices • Familiarity with Android studio and debug tools • Knowledge of OpenSSL/Crypto drivers is a plus • Experience with industry-standard development tools (e.g., tool-chains, IDEs, configuration management)
