Senior Engineer - Audio

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer specialized in Audio to join their engineering team. This role combines expertise in audio engineering with software development, focusing on supporting Qualcomm's compute and mobile customer projects. The position requires deep understanding of audio frameworks, DSP systems, and various audio interfaces.

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience working with Android Audio framework, AudioReach, ALSA Audio drivers, and DSP systems. Knowledge of Windows, XR, or Chrome Audio stack is considered an advantage. The role demands expertise in various audio interfaces including TDM/PCM/I2S/PDM/Slimbus/Soundwire, along with experience in Digital Microphones, Amplifiers, and Audio Codecs.

Key responsibilities include handling audio and DSP-related engineering issues, providing end-to-end audio use case solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position requires strong programming skills in C/C++, familiarity with Linux kernel and Android debugging, and understanding of RTOS concepts and ARM architecture.
