Responsibilities For Silicon Validation Engineer

  • System validation on emulation platforms and silicon bring-up and debug
  • Programming device drivers in C language
  • Debugging low-level software and hardware issues
  • Scripting in Python for data analysis and test automations
  • Validation and debug of mixed-signal IP
  • Measurement of power, performance and thermal behaviors on silicon
  • Power analysis and voltage margin optimizations for GPU core
  • System-level power management solutions characterization and tuning

Requirements For Silicon Validation Engineer

Linux
  • Excellent C/C++ programming skills
  • Excellent Perl/Python scripting skills
  • Knowledge in power consumption concepts in digital circuits
  • Knowledge in ARM CPU architecture and AHB/AXI bus protocols
  • Knowledge in GPU architecture
  • Knowledge in VLSI Design and Test Methodologies
  • Experience with lab equipment (Logic analyzers and Oscilloscopes)
  • Experience with Lauterbach Trace32 debug platform
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Good written and oral communications skills
