Staff Engineer IT

Qualcomm is seeking a Staff Engineer IT to join their Engineering IT Secure Environments team (IP Protection team) in Bangalore. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on system administration and automation development to protect Qualcomm's intellectual property while enabling engineering productivity. The position involves building and managing secure development environments that span globally, implementing crucial security controls while meeting engineering requirements.

The role demands strong expertise in both Linux and Windows system administration, coupled with the ability to develop automation solutions for environment management. You'll be working closely with Hardware and Software Engineering design communities and IT peers, building crucial relationships with global business partners. As a technical lead, you'll be responsible for new Hardware Engineering joint venture and third-party engagements, leading the implementation of secure environments that incorporate current security controls and infrastructure architecture.
