Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technical Account Manager at the Principal/Manager level to join their Engineering Group, specifically in Hardware Applications Engineering. This role combines technical expertise with customer advocacy, ensuring that commitments are achieved according to plan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical expertise on hardware and software systems through presentations, product demos, and training sessions
- Translating and communicating technical requirements among internal and external business teams
- Participating in pre-sales customer engagements and assessing potential applications of company products
- Understanding product plans, features, roadmaps, schedules, and go-to-market strategies
- Providing continuous support through customer-facing meetings and regular business reviews
- Developing and fostering strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrating executive presence, leadership, and organizational skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong technical background in hardware applications engineering or hardware design
- Experience in customer-facing roles and working in large matrixed organizations
- Ability to interact with senior leadership
- Experience in entrepreneurial consulting or technical sales (MBA is a plus)
This role offers a competitive salary range of $166,000 to $249,000, along with additional benefits such as annual bonuses, RSU grants, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support success at work, home, and play.
