Data Engineer III/IV

Rackspace Technology, a leading multicloud solutions expert, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in India. This role combines hands-on data platform engineering with consultative engagements, working with various stakeholders including Business Owners, Analytics teams, and Management.

The position requires expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines for both batch and real-time streaming, with a strong focus on Azure cloud services. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies like Databricks, Synapse, and ADF, while leading a team of engineers to deliver scalable solutions.

As a Data Engineer III/IV, you'll be responsible for architecting data infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code principles, collaborating across teams to build data-driven platforms, and handling complex technical questions around data infrastructure and implementation approaches. The role requires strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Spark, along with extensive experience in data modeling and lakehouse concepts.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on pipeline architecture. You should be comfortable leading teams, working in an Agile environment, and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Azure certifications are required, and experience with tools like DBT and PowerBI is advantageous.
