QA Engineer - Hybrid - Bangalore

Rackspace is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven QA Engineer for a hybrid role based in Bangalore, India. This position is part of the Public Cloud - COO – APJ COO team and requires over 5 years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on Software Quality Assurance Testing.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in testing client/server, web-based, and mobile applications. They should be proficient in maintaining the Software Testing Life Cycle throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. Experience with both Agile (SCRUM) and waterfall methodologies is essential, as well as familiarity with tools like JIRA and TestRail.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting web, API, and mobile automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and TOSCA
• Designing and developing various testing frameworks (Hybrid, Data Driven, Keyword Driven, BDD) with and without Page Object Model (POM)
• Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated test execution
• Utilizing source code management tools like GitLab, GitHub, and Azure DevOps
• Generating and analyzing test reports using HTML, Allure, Extent, and Excel formats
• Performing batch execution, group execution, and parallel execution of tests
• Maintaining and debugging automation scripts
• Conducting API testing using Postman
