DevOps Engineer (Full-Time - Night Trading - Chicago)

As a DevOps Engineer at Radix Trading, your goal is to enhance live trading systems, research infrastructure, and alpha generation through technology innovation. You'll be working the night shift in the Chicago office alongside other engineers and traders. The DevOps team is responsible for ensuring the efficacy of trading machines and translating research to production.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manipulating Linux systems on the fly
• Identifying errors and inefficiencies quickly
• Designing solutions for systems, networking, and general architecture challenges
• Leveraging cutting-edge software and hardware to push production-level code daily
• Evolving fully-automated strategies, alpha generation processes, live trading systems, and machine learning research
• Analyzing petabytes of data using simulation infrastructure

The role offers starter projects known to add value to the firm, while encouraging exploration and independent projects. You'll have the opportunity to improve inefficiencies, propose iterations, and own significant processes and tools within your first few months.
