Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer - Corporate IT Infrastructure Department (CITID)

Rakuten Group, a global company with over 30,000 employees across 30+ countries, is seeking an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer for their Corporate IT Infrastructure Department. This role, based in Tokyo HQ, will be part of the Global IT Strategy Office team focused on maximizing corporate IT value globally.

The position involves managing identity and access-related services, working with technologies like Active Directory, SSO/MFA, Okta/ADFS, and handling integrations and automation. The current team of 5 members located in Japan and India is expanding to handle increasing workload.

As an IAM Engineer, you'll be responsible for administering and maintaining Windows Active Directory, Okta, ADFS, and Microsoft Entra ID environments. Key responsibilities include implementing user provisioning processes, troubleshooting IAM issues, developing PowerShell automation scripts, and ensuring system security compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 3+ years of IT experience (2+ years in IAM). Strong technical skills in Active Directory, SSO solutions, and PowerShell scripting are essential. The position offers the opportunity to work with global teams while being based in Tokyo, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 4 days per week in office.
