Reality Defender, a Y Combinator graduate and Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs alumni backed by DCVC, is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join their innovative team. The company is pioneering multi-modal AI-generated media detection solutions to combat fraud, disinformation, and harmful deepfakes in real time.

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in leading and mentoring engineering teams while tackling complex technical challenges. The position offers a competitive compensation package of $175K-$225K, plus equity and bonus opportunities. This remote position is based in the USA, with a focus on the New York City area.

The role requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years of software engineering experience and a proven track record of building scalable production systems. You'll be responsible for architectural decisions, code quality, and working closely with Product Managers and senior leadership to drive technical initiatives forward.
