Recharge, the leading subscription platform for ecommerce, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their growing team. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and sales, requiring someone who can both understand complex technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions for merchants.

The position involves working with Recharge's platform, which powers subscriptions for over 20,000 merchants serving 100 million subscribers, including notable brands like Blueland, Hello Bello, and LOLA. As a Sales Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions that leverage Recharge's APIs and features to meet merchant needs.

The role requires a unique blend of technical proficiency and customer-facing skills. You'll need to be comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting, while also being able to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $141,200 to $176,500 USD (or CAD equivalent), along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and flexible time off.

This is a remote position specifically supporting West Coast and APAC deals, requiring candidates to be based in Mountain Time (MT) or Pacific Time (PT).   • Actively troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical issues
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to strategically position Recharge's technical value
  • Lead hands-on product demonstrations and technical workshops
  • Influence product development by sharing insights from merchants and market needs

Requirements For Sales Engineer

  • Proven technical proficiency with REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying technical solutions in a pre-sales or customer-facing engineering role
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Track record of continuous learning and adaptability
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar, or equivalent practical experience
