As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer, you'll lead the development and optimization of simulation environments for robotics applications. You'll focus on creating sophisticated digital twins using technology like NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim to streamline the development of new capabilities. Your role involves:
- Developing and optimizing simulation environments for robotics applications
- Creating realistic models and advanced simulations
- Integrating simulation tools to enhance the design, testing, and validation of robotic systems
- Building cohesive interfaces with equipment to unlock revolutionary manufacturing technology
Key qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience developing large C++ and/or Rust projects
- Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, and OpenUSD
- Skills in generating and utilizing synthetic data for robot motion and AI models
- Experience developing high-performance 3D graphics software for simulated environments
- Proficiency with geometry libraries (e.g., CGAL) and computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV)
- Ability to process point clouds, 3D meshes, and NURBs
- Experience with hardware-accelerated software using fragment and vertex shaders in OpenGL, CUDA, or similar
- Project leadership experience
Nice to have:
- Understanding of applying machine learning techniques in simulation environments for manufacturing and inspection processes optimization
