Description For Sr. FPGA Verification Engineer

Reliable Robotics is at the forefront of revolutionizing aviation safety through innovative technology. As a Sr. FPGA Verification Engineer, you'll join their Embedded Systems team, working on critical firmware and software platforms that power their autonomous aviation systems. The role combines hardware development with safety-critical systems, focusing on FPGA integration and testing for airborne products.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a vertically integrated technology stack, directly impacting aircraft capabilities. You'll be responsible for developing DO-254 compliant processes, managing test environments, and ensuring the safe implementation of airborne electronic hardware. The company's mission-driven approach and focus on aviation safety make this role particularly impactful.

Working from their Mountain View facility, you'll collaborate with a team of experienced professionals from aerospace, robotics, and self-driving car backgrounds. The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $150,000 to $220,000, plus benefits including stock options and medical coverage. The role requires occasional travel (10%) and involves working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

This position is ideal for someone with strong FPGA verification experience who wants to contribute to transformative aviation technology. The work directly enables product demonstrations, development of advanced capabilities, and product certification. The company's clear focus on their technology roadmap, without shifting business objectives, provides a stable environment for engineering innovation.

Reliable Robotics offers a casual work environment and values diversity and inclusion. The position requires compliance with U.S. export control laws, and candidates must be eligible to work with export-controlled technology. Join a team that's making air transportation safer and more accessible while working on cutting-edge autonomous aviation systems.
