Description For Developer Automation (E/SE)

As a Developer Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining scripts that enforce standard rules, reduce manual work, and improve efficiency in the design process. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering combined with programming expertise, particularly in CAD automation.

The ideal candidate will have a BE in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. You should possess advanced CAD/PDM skills, particularly with CATIA/CATScript/EKL, and have practical experience in automotive CAD/PDM customization.

  • Develop scripts to check standard rules for Architecture and design team
  • Reduce lead time for business delivery using EKL/CATScript/VBA technologies
  • Perform technical feasibility based on requirements in 3Dexperince/CATIA
  • Create scripts to reduce manual activity
  • Validate scripts with business and implement customizations
  • Regular communication and reporting to business and corporate
  • Enhance new technologies and platforms
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving

Requirements For Developer Automation (E/SE)

  • BE in Mechanical or Automobile or Production Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in Engineering
  • Advanced CAD/PDM skills
