Frontend Engineer

Reserv is an insurtech creating and incubating cutting-edge AI and automation technology to bring efficiency and simplicity to claims. Founded by insurtech veterans with deep experience in SaaS and digital claims, Reserv is venture-backed by Bain Capital and Altai Ventures and began operations in May 2022. As a front-end engineer at Reserv, you'll be at the heart of our growth journey, shaping the future of our technology and platform. You are a passionate engineer with strong front-end skills and a keen eye for UI/UX design. You thrive on bringing user stories to life, delivering exceptional end-to-end experiences. Collaboration is key at Reserv, and we value team members who are eager to work cross-functionally and drive innovation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with our tech stack: React, Typescript, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, GraphQL, NextJS, AWS
• Distilling core interactions for Reserv customers
• Shipping code to improve developer experience
• Building frontend and backend components
• Collaborating with product ops, design, and sales teams
• Mentoring junior engineers
• Communicating ideas through detailed writing
• Influencing the culture and processes of a growing engineering team

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a front-end or full-stack developer
• Strong ability to ship high-quality products
• Passion for building intuitive technology
• Ability to prioritize customer requirements
• Strong technical skillset with willingness to take on tasks outside core competency
