Robusta Technology Group (RTG) is seeking a Testing Software Engineer (Senior/Mid) to join their Engineering Team. RTG is a key driver of digital transformation, providing a holistic tech ecosystem and working with partners to build digital experiences and remote engineering hubs.
As a Testing Engineer, you'll work on various products from websites to enterprise platforms. Your responsibilities include:
- Participating in scrum activities
- Writing test scripts and preparing test checklists
- Staying updated with the latest in the field
- Supporting and mentoring juniors
- Contributing to the Engineering blog
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in various testing types including manual, automation, exploratory, mobile, web, performance, and security testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science or related field
- Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium WebDriver)
- Knowledge of design patterns and frameworks
- Agile methodology experience
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Mid-level: 3+ years of experience / Senior: 5+ years of experience

Responsibilities For Testing Software Engineer (Senior/Mid)
- Participate in scrum activities like release & sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
- Write test scripts and prepare test checklists for user stories
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to the Engineering blog with at least 3 postings per quarter
- Give technical sessions to peers
- Perform various types of testing including manual, automation, exploratory, mobile, web, performance, and security testing
Requirements For Testing Software Engineer (Senior/Mid)
- Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
- Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Apache JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Knowledge of design patterns and frameworks (e.g., page object model, data-driven)
- Experience working with Agile methodology
- Familiarity with Jira or other project management tools
- Daily use of Git for automation scripts
- Solid understanding of software development principles, practices, and methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks quickly
- Mid-level: 3+ years of experience / Senior: 5+ years of experience
