Roche Information Solutions (RIS) is seeking a Lead Java Developer with AWS expertise to join their digital healthcare innovation team in Pune. As a Tech Lead Engineer, you'll work with a 10+ member team, designing and implementing enterprise-scale software systems using modern cloud technologies. The position involves working with Spring Boot microservices, Angular, and AWS cloud services to develop digital solutions for pathology workflow optimization. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of full-stack development experience, strong AWS knowledge, and a passion for healthcare innovation. Responsibilities For Lead Java Developer (AWS)
- Design and implement product modules in Java and related frameworks
- Develop new user facing features across several major browsers
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
- Write clean, well designed, testable, efficient and maintainable code
- Develop new set of APIs and write unit test cases
- Integrate product with external partner APIs
- Write reusable code and libraries
- Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability
- Review code written by fellow junior developers
- Lead other backend engineers in design and development challenges
Requirements For Lead Java Developer (AWS)
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or directly related discipline
- 10+ years of hands-on industry experience as a full stack developer
- Experience of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Rest services & APIs
- Experience of HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, BootStrap
- Experience in designing concurrent and multitenant services
- Experience in cloud development prominently using AWS
- Solid understanding of design patterns, object-oriented design
- Quick learner with ability to understand complex workflows
- Knowledge and experience with Agile development process or SAFe is plus
