Rocket Travel by Agoda is seeking a Software Engineer - Full Stack with a frontend focus to join our product engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a global team passionate about finding data-driven solutions and taking moonshots to exceed goals.
As a Software Engineer at Rocket Travel, you'll be involved in all aspects of the software development process, from inception to deployment. You'll build new products, research emerging technologies, and contribute innovative ideas. Your primary focus will be on developing and improving web applications using React and .Net core, with opportunities to contribute to backend development as well.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience with client-side frameworks like React, Angular, or VueJS, and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming. You should be comfortable with agile methodologies, A/B testing, and continuous delivery practices. Excellent HTML/CSS skills and experience with JavaScript build tools are essential.
Rocket Travel offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary starting at $105,000 plus a bonus of up to 19%. Responsibilities For Software Engineer - Full Stack
- Be involved in all facets of the software development process from inception to deployment
- Build new products, research and develop new technologies, and come up with new ideas
- Be an integral member of one of our emerging product teams, helping to build travel-focused web applications
- Develop and improve our web applications, design and implement A/B tests, build new features
- Work mostly with React and .Net core, with the opportunity to learn and make contributions on the backend
- Stay on the leading edge of technical know-how, industry trends and drive technical innovations
Requirements For Software Engineer - Full Stack
- B.S. in Computer Science or quantitative field
- At least 3 years production experience developing web applications in client-side frameworks such as React, Angular, VueJS, etc.
- Working experience with agile, analytics, A/B testing and/or feature flags, Continuous Delivery, Trunk-based Development
- Excellent HTML/CSS skills
- Experience with JavaScript build tools such as Webpack
- Excellent understanding of object-oriented JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Java, Kotlin or Scala
- Great communication and coordination skills
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
