Software Engineer (MES/WCS)

ROCKWOOL, the global leader in stone wool solutions, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their "Factory of the Future" team within Group R&D. This role focuses on developing and maintaining Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), combining warehouse systems with PLC automation. The position offers an opportunity to work on innovative production technologies that could revolutionize stone wool production.

The role involves working with a team of specialists who develop and implement cutting-edge technologies for stone wool production. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, developing, and maintaining the WCS and related automation technologies, implementing enhancements, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring seamless integration between various enterprise systems.

The position requires extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams and involves travel up to 60 days annually for on-site implementations and support. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience, strong technical skills in SQL, .NET, and JavaScript, and a solid understanding of industrial production processes.
