Software Engineer (MES/WCS)

ROCKWOOL, the global leader in stone wool solutions, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their "Factory of the Future" team within Group R&D. This role focuses on developing and maintaining Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), combining warehouse systems with PLC automation. The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge production technologies in stone wool manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will join a team of specialists developing and implementing the newest technologies for stone wool production. The role involves significant collaboration with cross-functional teams across global production sites, requiring up to 60 days of travel annually for implementations, testing, and solution launches.

The position demands expertise in warehouse systems, automation, and software development, with a focus on integrating WCS, WMS, and ERP systems. The successful candidate will work on projects that require deep understanding of production processes and may involve developing custom solutions when standard components aren't available.
