Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Rooser is on a mission to eliminate the world's seafood waste by creating transparency and certainty in the seafood industry. We're building the world's first seafood trading platform to connect seafood processors with wholesalers, aiming to eradicate fragmented processes and volatility in the industry.

As a Full Stack Engineer at Rooser, you'll be diving deep into the industry's unique challenges, building tech to eliminate waste by streamlining how seafood is traded. You'll play a crucial role in scaling our service to exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take the lead on product changes, working directly with customers and the Rooser team to understand their needs.
• Design, build, and maintain front-end and back-end components of our applications.
• Improve our standards, processes, and adoption of new tools.
• Optimize performance and security in our platform.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer excelling in a fast-paced startup setting.
• Enjoys investigating user problems, crafting solutions, and measuring their impact.
• Wants to work on something that positively impacts the planet.
• Is skilled in back-end technologies and understands RESTful services and microservices architecture.
• Has experience developing front-end components using React and TypeScript.
