Description For Founding Engineer

Roundtable is building the behavioral trust layer for the AI era. We detect bots and AI agents online using keystroke dynamics, mouse movement, and cognitive signals—going beyond device fingerprints to measure how entities actually behave.

As a Founding Engineer at Roundtable, you'll be joining a cutting-edge startup focused on revolutionizing bot detection and fraud prevention through behavioral analysis. You'll work directly with founders who bring deep expertise from Princeton University in cognitive science and artificial intelligence.

The role offers an opportunity to:

  • Build core infrastructure for behavioral signal processing and analysis
  • Develop sophisticated algorithms for detecting bots and AI agents
  • Work with cutting-edge technologies in behavioral biometrics
  • Shape the technical architecture and direction of the product
  • Have significant impact as an early team member

We're looking for engineers who:

  • Are excited about solving complex technical challenges in behavioral analysis
  • Have strong full-stack development capabilities
  • Can work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Are interested in the intersection of security, AI, and human behavior

The position offers competitive compensation ($100-150K salary + 1-3% equity) and the chance to work with an accomplished founding team in San Francisco. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a significant impact in building technology that will be crucial for trust and security in the AI era.
