Stress Engineer - 6m Inside IR35

Safran Engineering Services UK Limited is seeking a Stress Engineer for a 6-month contract position at their Pitstone location. This role focuses on performing detailed finite element analysis of stationary and rotating assemblies using Ansys Workbench. The position requires an experienced professional who can conduct both sophisticated computer analyses and manual calculations for verification purposes. Working within a collaborative environment, the engineer will interface regularly with in-house design and stress teams, delivering high-quality technical documentation and presentations. The role demands expertise in various analysis types including linear & nonlinear stress, modal analysis, and rotordynamics, with additional value placed on experience with explicit dynamics analysis tools like LS-Dyna.
