Founding Engineer

Sailor Health is seeking a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to revolutionize mental health care for older adults. As a ground-floor opportunity, you'll work directly with co-founders to architect and build an AI-first platform from scratch. The role involves designing core systems across patient experience, therapist workflows, and EHR integration, while implementing cutting-edge AI features like speech-to-text triage and care navigation copilots.

The company is addressing a critical healthcare need, targeting the rapidly growing senior population, projected to reach 60 million by 2030. Through partnerships with Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans, Sailor Health aims to make high-quality geriatric psychotherapy accessible, affordable, and scalable.

As a founding engineer, you'll have significant autonomy and influence, owning major technical decisions and shaping the engineering culture. The position requires 2-6 years of experience, strong full-stack capabilities, and expertise in modern technologies including TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python, and PostgreSQL. The role is based in New York City (Soho) and requires in-office presence.
