As a Principal Architect for Platform Product Design, you'll have the opportunity to shape Salesforce's platform product strategy, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to bring your enterprise experience vision to life. This role will craft the user experience in ways that solve meaningful problems, design with a focus on inclusivity and accessibility, and make life better for all users and customers.
As a seasoned Principal Architect, you'll be an executive-level, hands-on leader creating a vision for enabling the success of our customers. You will help build connective tissue across product spaces, identifying opportunities and creating concepts that lead to more unified experiences. You will be a thought leader at the crossroads of artificial intelligence and developer experience, creating new design paradigms, architectures, and patterns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving company-scale design initiatives that include multiple cross-disciplinary contributors
- Collaborating with senior executive stakeholders
- Setting the vision and architecture for a product's multi-release experience
- Serving as a bridge connecting design, product, engineering, and marketing teams
- Actively mentoring other designers and contributing to our design community
- Creating inclusive experiences for all users and advocating for accessibility
We are looking for a candidate with 10+ years of experience designing and delivering products, exceptional ability to influence others, systems thinking, and deep understanding of user-centered design methods. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, expert knowledge of design tools, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile environment.
