The position requires a blend of technical leadership and customer-facing skills, where you'll work alongside Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, and Product teams to drive the adoption of cutting-edge AI solutions. You'll be responsible for assessing customer use cases, architecting solutions, and shaping the technical vision for Agentforce implementation.
Key aspects of the role include leading technical pre-sales activities, developing and delivering compelling demonstrations, creating educational content, and facilitating workshops that showcase the platform's capabilities. You'll need to stay current with emerging AI trends, particularly in areas like generative AI, LLMs, and agent-based models.
The ideal candidate brings several years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience in B2B SaaS, combined with strong programming skills in languages like Python, JavaScript, and SQL. Deep knowledge of AI/ML concepts, modern data architectures, and API integration is essential. You'll need to be naturally curious about AI technologies and passionate about educating others while crafting solutions that deliver real business impact.

Responsibilities For Principal Technical Architect, Agentforce (Pre-Sales)
- Provide technical leadership during pre-sales by assessing customer use cases and recommending optimal solutions
- Champion standard methodologies around AI/ML and data pipelines
- Create and deliver technical content including demos, videos, and white-papers
- Research customer challenges and architect innovative AI/ML solutions
- Lead white-boarding sessions, training, and hands-on workshops
- Develop cross-platform solutions integrating data cloud, CRM, and analytics tools
- Produce best-practice documentation and architectural diagrams
Requirements For Principal Technical Architect, Agentforce (Pre-Sales)
- Several years in solutions engineering, architecture, or technical consulting in B2B SaaS
- Experience with machine learning concepts (predictive and generative AI)
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and modern data stacks
- Proficiency in programming (JavaScript, Python, SQL)
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Experience with REST APIs and SDKs
- Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and cloud AI platforms
