Description For Software Engineering Architect- SDET

Salesforce is seeking a Software Engineering Architect- SDET to join their team. This role requires technical skills, outstanding analytical and influencing skills, and extraordinary business insight. The Architect will help build the technological vision, drive technology strategy, and influence business partners and technology leaders on strategic direction. They will work with engineering leaders and other software architects on the definition and delivery of highly scalable and secure SaaS solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and driving software architecture and enterprise capabilities
  • Designing sophisticated software systems for high-end solutions
  • Determining overall architectural principles, frameworks, and standards
  • Providing leadership to engineers, QE, and product partners
  • Driving research, case studies, and prototypes on groundbreaking technologies
  • Analyzing and providing feedback on product strategy
  • Crafting architectural vision and roadmap for the organization
  • Designing and delivering automation and automation frameworks for Mobile and Desktop products
  • Participating in Test Design Review Board for integration test plans
  • Creating end-to-end, cross cloud-impacting integration automation
  • Interfacing with customers to understand real-life usage and build test cases
  • Monitoring product and feature-level quality health metrics
  • Troubleshooting production issues
  • Providing leadership and coaching to team members

Requirements:

  • Mastery of multiple programming languages and platforms
  • 15+ years of software development experience
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Proficiency in writing functional automation (UI/API)
  • Ability to work with other architects, principal architects, and CTOs
  • Experience in short release cycles and the full software lifecycle
  • A related technical degree
