Description For Student Worker - Backend Engineering

Join Salesforce as a Student Worker in Backend Engineering for a unique opportunity to make a significant impact through code. This 12-month, part-time position (3-4 days per week) starting September 15 offers hands-on experience in developing large-scale systems. As part of Salesforce's engineering team, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies in the Java ecosystem, cloud computing, and DevOps tools. The role combines practical software development with mentorship from experienced engineers, perfect for students pursuing Computer Science degrees.

You'll be involved in designing and developing challenging systems from scratch, working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Salesforce's Hyperforce cloud deployment architecture. The position offers exposure to full-stack development, though focusing primarily on backend systems. You'll gain experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and collaboration with remote teams.
