Description For Technical Support Engineer - B2C Commerce Cloud

Salesforce is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for their B2C Commerce Cloud product. As an expert in Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud products, you will be the technical interface for customer challenges. Technical Support Engineers are specialists who lead customers to success. Your mission is to contribute to Salesforce's growth by providing high technical skills and prompt, courteous, and accurate support services to maximize customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing solutions, including troubleshooting technical issues, for the assigned product (Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud)
  • Managing customer expectations and delivering excellent customer experiences
  • Demonstrating outstanding analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving expertise
  • Working closely with development and SRE teams to provide solutions
  • Multitasking and working efficiently under pressure
  • Establishing and maintaining technical expertise in the product features of your assigned area
  • Actively helping team members and contributing to maximizing team performance
  • Participating actively and continuously in work-related training
  • Creating and managing knowledge documents

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Practical experience in engineering, programming, or technical support
  • Understanding of system configurations such as web, application, and database server roles
  • Experience in developing and debugging web applications
  • Troubleshooting/root cause analysis skills for web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • Experience with database concepts, data management (RDBMS), and SQL
  • Understanding of network and data communication technologies
  • Fluent Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing) / English (reading and writing required, speaking preferred)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce products or other cloud-based technologies
  • Practical experience in customer support or customer service
  • Work experience with e-commerce platforms
  • Salesforce certifications (Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Application Builder, Certified B2C Commerce Developer)
