Front End Engineer

Salient, a rapidly growing startup revolutionizing consumer loan servicing, is seeking a Front End Engineer to build intuitive interfaces for their AI financial SaaS platform. Since launching in September 2023, they've achieved remarkable milestones including $10M+ in ARR, processing over $150M in transactions, and preventing $30M in fraud.

The role demands a customer-obsessed engineer with 4+ years of frontend experience to shape the product experience from the ground up. You'll work closely with product and AI engineers to create elegant solutions that make complex financial data accessible and actionable. The tech stack includes React, TypeScript, Next.js, and modern frontend tools, with a focus on building responsive, high-performance interfaces and data visualizations.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing user interfaces, collaborating on API design, building reusable components, and optimizing for scalability. The ideal candidate brings expert knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and modern frontend development practices, along with a strong understanding of CSS and responsive design.
